Havana Safety Complex Grand Opening
Gadsden surpassed its previous achievements as the City of Havana inaugurated its state-of-the-art Police Station and dedicated its fire station in loving memory of Don Vickers. This safety complex has been years in the making.
Chief Lewis extended greetings and acknowledgments to numerous community members and elected officials who played vital roles in the completion of this multi-year project.
Special guests included the Gadsden County Sheriff’s Office, represented by Morris A. Young, Sheriff, as well as Rep. Gallop, Franklin, Havana Main Street, and many others.
So many amazing citizens of Havana came out to celebrate with us. They filled the the chairs set out and overflowed into the street.
The Chamber is thankfull to the Town of Havana, police, and firefighters for allowing us to be a part of this achievement.
